Cross-Domain Workflow

FPSO Maintenance Event Flow — an animated visualization showing data flowing through the maintenance process across 4 domains.

Domains Involved

  • Operations — Anomaly detection and alert generation
  • Maintenance — Work order creation and repair execution
  • Supply Chain — Inventory check and part shipment
  • Finance — Cost calculation and KPI update

10-Step Workflow

  1. Anomaly Detection (Operations) — Sensor detects abnormal reading on Compressor_A, pressure dropped below threshold.
  2. Alert Generated (Operations) — System generates high-severity alert ALT-5001 and notifies Maintenance domain.
  3. Work Order Created (Maintenance) — Maintenance creates WO-1001 to investigate and repair Compressor_A.
  4. Parts Required (Maintenance) — Technician identifies Filter_X100 is needed, requests from Supply Chain.
  5. Inventory Check (Supply Chain) — Supply Chain checks inventory — Filter_X100 available at Warehouse_Rio.
  6. Part Shipment (Supply Chain) — Part request PR-2026-001 created, Filter_X100 shipped to FPSO via helicopter.
  7. Repair Executed (Maintenance) — Filter replaced, Compressor_A back online — WO-1001 completed.
  8. Operations Notified (Operations) — Operations resumes normal production, equipment status updated to "Running".
  9. Cost Calculation (Finance) — Finance calculates total intervention cost: labour + parts + downtime =
    02,500.
  10. KPI Update (Finance) — Performance KPIs updated — MTBF, uptime metrics recalculated for FPSO Liza Unity.
